10 easy tips on how you can stay fit even as you keep up with today’s highly-paced existence:
~ Wear good quality walking shoes, keep a bottle of water handy, keep your stance straight, shoulders in line, abs sucked in and it’s perfectly fine to be a little out of breath!
~ Don’t like walking or jogging or have boundaries with regard to weight-bearing exercises?
Adjust the height of the seat so that the leg that is on the bottom pedal is almost but not completely extended, sit with your back straight, either upright or leaning slightly forward, relax your shoulders and cycle away!
~ Sipping a warm cup of tea is a soothing activity that will help you prepare for the day ahead and feel nurtured. Green tea is loaded with antioxidants, so it’s a delicious and healthy lifestyle choice!

Breakfast is known as ‘the most important meal of the day’ for a very good reason:
- A healthy meal in the sunup can balance your blood sugar levels and give you the nourishment you need to handle physical and mental stress. Without it, you will be less resilient, both physically and mentally. Be sure to have plenty of protein and fruit, not just caffeine and empty calories!
~ If you've got a young sports aficionado in the family, play along. Shooting baskets and kicking a soccer ball around the yard are great ways to get your heart pumping. Even five to ten minutes will lift up your energy and speed your metabolism!
